Suffering from a Special Education Teacher Shortage? We can help…
With teacher shortages, especially in the field of special education, becoming increasingly severe, we have actively sought out effective staffing solutions to ensure that our special education students are not left without a caring, qualified, and dedicated teacher for the upcoming school year. Uniquely Staffed has recently partnered with a J-1 Visa Sponsorship program that brings highly qualified special education teachers from abroad to fill these critical gaps. You may be wondering, however, whether these teachers are truly qualified to teach in the United States. The answer is a resounding, yes. And yes, I did choose the word resounding— AI didn’t choose it for me :)
We carefully recruit teachers who have completed advanced master’s degree programs in their home countries, with credentials that have recognized equivalencies to master’s programs here in the US. Here are some additional important facts about our program:
The teachers become direct employees of the school district.
We charge a one-time placement fee.
We provide two days of thorough onboarding focused on IEPs in the US, special education classroom models, and effective parent communication.
We offer continual teacher support and mentorship throughout the entire school year.
It is important to note that schools must place these teachers in schools demonstrating good to high academic achievement. For those in California, you can check your school’s performance status on this website, and for schools in other states, you may verify here. If you are in a different state altogether, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly.
Please be aware that the placement window for special education teachers for the 2025-2026 school year will close soon. If your school is currently in need of a special education teacher, we encourage you to email us today at hello@uniquelystaffed.com to discuss how we can assist you!
